General Summary: A Senior Youth Mentor is a true leader, not just in title, but in in action. The ideal candidate is able to develop daily plans for the youth and being able to connect with the residents on a deeper level and remains fair and consistent in their daily interactions with residents. A Senior Youth Mentor will have knowledge on how to de-escalate youth, and be able to connect with our residents in a profound way, the youth in our care need strong leaders in their lives, and someone that can help direct them in a structured way.
Qualifications:
At least an Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following: Psychology, Special Education, Human Services, or Social Work
Four(4) years experience with Mental Health, residential setting preferred
Must have valid driver’s license
Clean background
Must be at least 21 years of age per state regulations
Additional Prefered Certifications:
RBT Superivisor Certification
CAS Certification
BCAP Certification
BCBA Certification
CPR/BLS Certification through AHA
Mindset Trainer Certification
