Chief Operating Officer
General Summary: The COO ensures the internal daily planning, implementation, management, and oversight of the organization through providing leadership to all operational and administrative functions of the organization including finance, office management, human resources, technology, facilities management, and kitchen/café. The Chief Operating Officer works in collaboration and in partnership with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Program Directors. He/she is to serve as a representative of the organization with the Board of Directors, the community, and professional organizations.
Qualifications:
- Preferred bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, economics, or closely related field which will provide knowledge of the principles, practices and administration of business and nonprofits.
- 6+ years or the equivalent in experience of full-time progressively complex and responsible related work experience directly involved with operations, business, development, finance or related area.
- Minimum of five years’ experience in supervision and management.
