Residential Program

Morningstar Youth Estate Campus specializes in caring for Georgia’s foster boys, ages 12–21, who have come into care due to abuse, neglect, or abandonment. We are the only residential program in Georgia that solely serves developmentally delayed youth — many with autism and complex care needs.

HOW WE CAN HELP

A full range of support, under one roof.

Our 55-bed campus is home to some of Georgia’s most in-need young men. Besides enjoying the benefits of living in the verdant Coastal Georgia lowcountry, each resident receives wrap-around services that address all of their challenges — psychological, social, physical, educational, and spiritual.

Our clinicians and care staff are trained across a range of specialties so that each boy gets exactly the support he needs — no one-size-fits-all approach.

  • Therapeutic counseling
  • Workforce coaching
  • Morningstar Academy (special ed)
  • Spiritual care & chapel
  • Life skills training
  • Medical coordination & wellness care
  • Recreation & holiday activities
  • Family & caseworker visit space

SERVICE IMPACT

More than a roof. A path forward.

Step 1

Welcome

Children arrive at Morningstar from across Georgia after experiencing abuse, neglect, abandonment, or significant instability. Many have complex emotional, behavioral, developmental, or medical needs. From day one, they are welcomed into a safe and caring environment where they are valued and cared for.

Step 2

Healing

Each child receives an individualized plan designed around his unique strengths and needs. Through consistent routines, supportive relationships, therapeutic care, and the comfort of cottage life, he begins to experience the stability needed for healing and growth.
Step 3

Growth

Healing happens over time. Through counseling, education, life-skills development, recreation, workforce readiness, medical care, and everyday childhood experiences, children gain confidence, develop resilience, and discover their potential.

Step 4

Next Steps

Whether reunification, foster care, kinship placement, or greater independence, every child’s journey is unique. Our goal is to equip each young person with the skills, support, and confidence needed to take the next step toward a brighter future.

“Our goal is to help them move forward — healing from trauma, learning life and work skills, setting them up for success as they grow toward adulthood.”
