General Summary: The Nurse Manager is responsible for assisting in the management of the Health Care needs of the clients are ensuring the medical licensing requirements are met. This individual must work with staff, service providers, families, and social service agencies to meet the needs of the client. This individual will need to attend any clinical, campus and/or additional meetings as requested or scheduled by the Director of Residential Services. The Nurse Manager works well with all organization staff, service providers, social service agencies the department of family and children services and other welfare agencies to meet the needs of the clients in care or in the referral process.
Qualifications: This position requires a minimum of a high school diploma with two (2) years’ experience in adolescent residential treatment or an Associate degree in a related health field, as well as hold a current Georgia RN license. This position requires experience in treating and documenting medical problems in a clinical setting. A valid Georgia Driver’s License and a good driving record are also essential requirements.
