Therapist

General Summary: The primary role of the Therapist is to provide professional assessment, treatment planning, crisis intervention, individual/group/family therapy for clients as assigned. Clinical duties and appropriate documentation include but are not limited to initial screening, orientation, assessment, treatment planning, individual, family and group, counseling and transition/discharge planning.

Qualifications: Georgia licensure and/or certification at an acceptable level to practice counseling, or DHR state-exempt status. Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with clientele suffering from Mental Health issues. Exceptions may be made for experience by the Mental Health Clinic Administrator, providing employee is working toward licensure/certification in Mental Health or SA related field and is receiving ongoing supervision as required.
