Youth Mentor II

General Summary: The Youth Mentor II is able to provide structure through the implementation of a daily schedule and remains fair and consistent in their daily interactions with residents. A Youth Mentor will have knowledge on how to de-escalate youth, and be able to connect with our residents in a profound way. The youth in our care need strong leaders in their lives, and someone that can help direct them in a structured way.

Qualifications: Training and experience necessitates at least an Associate’s Degree in one of the following: Psychology, Special Education, Human Services, or Social Work. A Youth Mentor II shall have at least two years of relatable experience. The Youth Mentor II shall be no younger than 21 years of age. The position requires that they¬† be approved through the Georgia DHR Criminal Records Check.¬†
