Youth Mentor II

General Summary: The Youth Mentor II is able to provide structure through the implementation of a daily schedule and remains fair and consistent in their daily interactions with residents. A Youth Mentor will have knowledge on how to de-escalate youth, and be able to connect with our residents in a profound way. The youth in our care need strong leaders in their lives, and someone that can help direct them in a structured way.

Qualifications: Training and experience necessitates at least an Associate’s Degree in one of the following: Psychology, Special Education, Human Services, or Social Work. A Youth Mentor II shall have at least two years of relatable experience. The Youth Mentor II shall be no younger than 21 years of age. The position requires that they  be approved through the Georgia DHR Criminal Records Check.
